The International Law Research and Human Rights Monitoring Centre (ILRHMC) is launching www.africainfo.hu, a new web-site providing easier access to information and news in English and Hungarian on and about Africa. Initial funding has been provided by the British Embassy in Budapest.

Further, within the Africa Programmes the organisation runs the Africa Round Table Discussion Project on the Commission for Africa Report in universities. This has been enlarged to include the EU-Africa Strategy. With the assistance of Anna Nagy and Helga Bodis, we have been able to translate the Commission for Africa pamphlet for schools into Hungarian and this will be distributed freely to educational institutions and interested organisation and individuals. All these projects have been funded by British Embassy in Budapest.

ILRHMC is an international public interest law organization. It was established to coordinate and develop interdisciplinary teaching and research in the various areas of International Law and international development. It also monitors, promotes and defends internationally recognized human rights. It is governed by an international board of directors, and cooperates with other sister organizations.
